It will include such information as name, address, email address, telephone number, details of how you want to interact with us, how you use/wish to use our services, and basic information about pastimes that specifically link to the events you may be taking part in.
We may collect and process personal data about you that you have given us as follows:
- If you fill in forms on our website
- Details of transactions/bookings you carry out via our website
- Correspondence between you and us
- Occasional and optional surveys that we may carry out for our own research purposes.
If you book to come on an event through a third party booking site: your payment information is not held by us, it is collected by the third party payment processors and this independent from us.
How we use your information?
We will only ask for information that is necessary for us to provide you with a service. This may include:
- processing a booking for an event that we are running.
- seeking your views or comments on the workshops or events that we provide;
- notifying you of changes to any workshops or events;
- sending you communications which you have requested and that may be of interest to you. These may include information about workshops, other related events or materials related to the events that you have attended.
We will hold your personal information on our systems for as long as is necessary for the relevant activity, or event/series of events that you are attending with us or for longer if you wish us to stay in touch with you. We regularly review our information retention periods.

Once we receive your information, we make our best effort to ensure its security on our systems. The Countryside Retreat uses Office 365 to store and manage data.
Like many other websites, the Countryside Retreat’s web server company site uses cookies.which allows the website to recognise you when you visit. Cookies enable the collection of statistical data about your browsing actions and patterns and do not identify you as an individual.
It is possible to switch off cookies by setting your browser preferences. Please be aware that turning cookies off may result in a loss of functionality when using our website.

The Countryside Retreat provides services to adults and our website and social media is not designed for or targeted at children. It is not our policy to intentionally collect or store information about children.
